Orbit Fold is built around a single continuous body that physically reconfigures itself. Each mode is a structural state — not a separate accessory.
Closed, Orbit Fold measures 112 × 76 × 18 mm and weighs 168 grams. The hinge sits invisibly behind the front lip; the only visible feature is a single USB‑C port and the engraved wordmark on the left edge.
A damped hinge holds the Qi2 face at a fixed 68° angle — chosen after twenty-four prototype iterations as the most natural reading angle for a phone at arm’s length on a desk.
A spring‑loaded USB‑C tip travels 12 mm out of the front lip, letting Orbit Fold dock directly to a phone, a tablet, or a pair of earbuds without an external cable. Push it back — the surface returns flush.
An array of N52 neodymium magnets seats the phone precisely over the Qi2 coil. Charging begins within 800 ms of contact and stays within 38°C peak shell temperature at the rated 15W.
